BASMA

BASMA seeks to improve the health and social conditions of children with cancer in Syria, through providing psychological and moral support to children and parents during the treatment period, as well as the financial support to treatment cost. BASMA provides medical support to children cancer units in order to upgrade the medical services rendered to children, promote setting up new units, and increase community awareness on pediatric cancer.

Give Life A Smile ... BASMA

As every year Basma Association works to launch a campaign to support children with cancer in February on the sidelines of the annual International Day for the Children's Cancer, which is on the fifteenth of the month of February of each year.
The most important characteristic of a campaign this year 2012, after three campaigns is that BASMA wanted to send a message to the community with all of its members calling him to support this cause, cancer may affect any child and bring with it a lot of suffering and at all levels and perhaps our continuous support of this case is that we can provide the opportunity to treat and care complementary to each Syrian child had cancer, because we then will give him a new opportunity in life.
"Give life a smile... BASMA" the slogan launched by BASMA campaign this year to reflect that each contribution will be provided by any individual on the difference value will be given to a child's life a smile will not be as any smile, but it will be a life smile because it brought with it the meaning of life.
